This red to scarlet fruit is about 3/4″ across with a very thin skin over the tart but delicate juicy flesh. One fruit provides more than the daily requirement for Vitamin C with its contents ranging from 1000 to 2000 mg per 100 grams of fully ripe fruit. It makes great jams and jellies, punches and wines. The Season is intermittent during the warm months of the year with 3 to 4 crops typical. During harvesting periods we often have this fruit included as part of our Assorted Tropical Berry Pack. This assortment lets you sample several different fruits.
