This is a large, climbing, philodendron-like plant. The extremely large leaves develop holes in them as they mature. The fruit somewhat resembles an ear of corn and the individual segments taste somewhat like pineapple-banana mix. Beautiful in landscape. (28{deg}F, Mexico, Cent. Amer.)
