Bears the largest seed known. Beautiful, tropical palms. These varieties are reported as being 80-90% resistant to Lethal Yellowing disease. The dwarf varieties are called such since they begin fruiting at 3-5 years when still very small, giving the impression of a dwarf tree but they are not a dwarf palm growing to full size. A tropical or warm subtropical climate is needed for them to survive outside. Our current palm selections were grown from certified seed from Costa Rica and they have been vigorous growers for us.
